According to data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Tuesday, the average inflation rate for the fiscal year 2024–2025 was 4.49 percent.
Details show that in June, inflation was 3.23 percent. According to the PBS, inflation rose by 0.23 percent in June compared to May. In June 2025, urban areas saw a 0.8% increase in inflation.
In June 2025, urban areas’ annual inflation rate stayed at 3%.
In contrast, rural areas saw a 0.47 percent increase in inflation in June 2025. In rural areas, annual inflation was 3.58 percent.
