Recently, photos of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s B-class prison room in Adiala Jail have surfaced on social media, sparking widespread discussion and controversy.
The images revealed that Khan’s cell is equipped with amenities such as an LED TV, a room cooler, a study table, and a chair.
Earlier federal claimed that Imran Khan’s prison life costs 1.2 million PKR.
Government documents submitted in the National Accountability Bureau amendment case have unveiled further details about Khan’s accommodations.
In addition to the furnished cell, Khan has access to a private kitchen where he can decide his own menu.
He also possesses a significant collection of books, including notable titles like Nelson Mandela’s “Long Walk to Freedom,” “Why Nations Fail,” and “Ideas: A History of Thought and Invention from Fire to Freud.”
The documents also disclosed that Khan is provided with a designated space for walking twice a day and an exercise machine to maintain his fitness routine.
His study area is well-equipped with a desk and chair, supporting his academic pursuits during his incarceration.
Additionally, a 14-page document lists the visitors who have met with Imran Khan since September 28 of last year, indicating a steady stream of interactions with various individuals.
