As per aviation authorities, the Prime Minister was welcomed at Quetta Airport by Acting Governor Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, and other top-ranking officials from the provincial government.
The high-stakes gathering, hosted in the heart of the provincial capital, brought together influential tribal figures, key political stakeholders, members of the cabinet, and legislative representatives from across the region.

In addition to the jirga, the Prime Minister was scheduled to meet survivors of the recent deadly explosion in Sorab.
