LAHORE: The City Police on Wednesday arrested a Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf ticket-holder from PP-166 Raiwind.
According to the family the party, the police took into custody Khalid Gujjar who is contesting for Punjab Assembly seat PP 166.
According to police, the PTI ticket-holder was arrested in a case (1271/23) registered against him following the May 9 riots that erupted soon after the arrest of PTI founder Imran Khan at Gulberg Police Station.
Khalid Gujjar’s brother Shabbir Gujjar said that the family could not contact Khalid for the last several hours.
It is to be noted that Khalid Gujjar has recently been released on bail in a case related to vandalism outside Zaman Park.
