Punjab’s School Edu Dept rolled out year-round transfer option for female teachers who are married, divorced, or widowed—giving some relief to many women working in schools.
As per official note, transfer requests from teachers dealing with personal issues, esp. divorced, widows, or those who got khula, will be given preference.
Requests involving biggest distance between current post and desired place will also get special attention.
District Edu Authority will be responsible to give NOC for such transfers. Also, all these hardship cases will be looked into by a special Hardship Cases Committee.
