Renowned Pakistani digital content creator Rajab Butt, who has garnered over 6.7 million subscribers on YouTube and 1.9 million followers on Instagram, is widely known for his candid family vlogs and occasionally controversial demeanor.
Despite facing online scrutiny, Butt enjoys unwavering support from his dedicated audience, who also hold deep admiration for his family members, including his wife Emaan, parents, and sister.
In recent weeks, Rajab Butt has come under fire for allegedly disregarding or showing indifference toward his wife during his video blogs. Social media users pointed out what they perceived as signs of emotional distance or neglect, sparking widespread discussion.
In response, Rajab shared his side of the story via a detailed video message. “There seems to be a misunderstanding about my dynamic with Emaan,” he clarified. “People are jumping to conclusions based on limited content. Social platforms have destroyed many relationships, and I refuse to let that happen to mine.”
He continued, explaining that Emaan, being unfamiliar with the pressures of digital life, is currently dealing with health issues. “She hasn’t been feeling well, and her presence in videos has been minimal because of that. She’s not a performer — she’s my wife in real life, not a character for the camera. Until she recovers, she won’t be featured in any vlogs,” he added.
Rajab emphasized his commitment to his responsibilities as a husband and reassured fans that his personal life remains intact. “Whatever I earn or own is for my wife, my mother, and my sister,” he said.
Despite his attempt to clear the air, Rajab’s explanation drew mixed reactions from viewers. Some fans felt the clarification lacked sincerity, with one commenter writing, “Time and attention matter more than money.” Another remarked, “Men think providing financially is enough — it isn’t.”
Others speculated that Emaan might be expecting a child or suggested that her absence was not entirely due to health concerns. “She’s probably been told not to appear in the vlogs anymore,” a user claimed. Another wrote, “This isn’t an accusation — it’s visible in the videos how he treats her.”
While some defended Rajab, others questioned why his actions kept needing public justification, pointing to a deeper issue in the way his relationship is portrayed online.
