Rescue 1122, Punjab Emergency Service has begun a province-wide civil defence training program, as per government’s instructions.
It is an ambitious attempt by Rescue 1122 emergency service to boost public readiness during the crises situation, by civil defence training program.
Dr. Over 50,000 people have been trained just in the last 48 hours.
Trained in basic first aid, emergency evacuation, and life-saving methods are students, professionals, and members of the general public.
The courses cover hands-on instruction on stopping bleeding, doing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and giving rapid treatment for fractured bones and spinal injuries.
Dr. Rizwan Naseer underlined the need of these exercises, saying they aim to mimic actual situations.
People should feel safe and sure in crises.
He continued, “these exercises instill a feeling of readiness that is essential when calamity hits.”
The public is being trained in fundamental life-saving skills and emergency response methods by means of the program.
Dr. Rizwan said, “The goal is to enable people to manage unexpected and important events well.”
