Pakistani social media influencer and actress Reham Rafiq has become the talk of the town after sharing a dance video to the hit song “Shake It to the Max.”
Reham began her career by creating videos on Instagram, which further assisted her in entering the Pakistani drama world.
She began her acting career with the film ‘Khel Khel Mein’ in 2021, led by renowned director Nabeel Qureshi. She has since appeared in dramas such as ‘Jhoom,’ ‘Kaffara,’ ‘Judwaan,’ and ‘Parwarish.’
Apart from her acting career, Reham is also active on social media and frequently uploads trendy videos on TikTok. She recently participated in a trending TikTok dance challenge with the song ‘Shake It to the Max’ and posted the video on Instagram too.
In the video, she dances in her bathroom wearing an army green oversized shirt and loose trousers. Most viewers referred to her facial expressions and dance as “bizarre” and “unusual.”
The video quickly went viral, but it also attracted a lot of criticism. One user wrote, “If you’re dancing, just dance. What’s the need for those weird facial expressions?” Another sarcastically asked, “What do the doctors say? Is there any hope for recovery?” A third joked, “I really admire her husband’s courage for letting her do these stunts.”
Some remarks were also humorous, such as one that read, “I can’t stop laughing. It’s a terribly bad dance,” and another one which read, “Neither the dance nor the expressions are good.”
Reham is younger sister to popular Pakistani singer Nimra Rafiq and has just married Shakeeb Khan in a family wedding ceremony.
