Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has shocked and saddened fans by revealing that he is battling several serious health conditions.
During an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, the actor disclosed that he is suffering from trigeminal neuralgia, brain aneurysm, and arteriovenous malformation (AVM)—all potentially life-threatening illnesses.
The revelation came unexpectedly during a light-hearted segment of the show where Salman was asked about his marital life. Responding in a serious tone, the 58-year-old actor said,
“We’re breaking bones every day. My ribs are fractured. I’m working with trigeminal neuralgia. There’s an aneurysm in the brain. I have AV malformation as well. But still, we’re moving, we’re working.”
Both the audience and host Kapil Sharma were stunned by Salman’s unexpected admission. Given the actor’s impressive physical fitness, few had imagined he was dealing with such severe medical challenges.
His statements have sparked a storm on social media, with fans and fellow celebrities expressing admiration for his strength and dedication to work despite these conditions.
Trigeminal neuralgia is a highly painful facial disorder that causes sudden, electric shock-like pain in the facial nerves.
Brain aneurysm refers to a weak spot in a brain blood vessel that bulges and may rupture, potentially leading to life-threatening stroke or death.
AV malformation (Arteriovenous Malformation) is an abnormal tangle of blood vessels in the brain or spinal cord that often grows silently and may suddenly present with bleeding or seizures.
According to media reports, Salman Khan has not yet disclosed whether he is undergoing treatment for these conditions or how they might impact his upcoming film projects.
