A clip of veteran actress Sanam Baloch having a theatre show is getting viral on social media, causing enthusiasm among fans and inspiring expectations of her return on television.
The video at Yasir Hussain‘s theatre play Monkey Business captures Sanam sitting in the audience, laughing and smiling — a moment that immediately won the hearts of her fans.
Fans showered social media with comments filled with delight at seeing the actress after a long absence, and most demanded her return.
“It felt so good to see her after so long,” wrote one fan, while another said, “She‘s still as stunning as ever.” Others implored, “Please return to dramas.”
Sanam Baloch, aged 39 now, has been extensively credited with her memorable acting roles in popular dramas such as Kankar, Dastaan, Durr-e-Shehwar, Khaas, and Teri Raza.
She first gained prominence in Sindhi-language TV and then moved to mainstream Urdu dramas, rising to a top favorite in Pakistan‘s entertainment hub in no time.
Her reflective and elegant performances earned her a loyal fan base in the 2000s and 2010s.
Despite this, since her last on-screen appearance in the drama Khaas with Ali Rehman Khan in 2019, she has taken a backseat and pretty much moved out of the public eye.
Her disappearance from the television screen has been felt strongly by fans who loved her presence and work.
Sanam was previously wed to TV presenter Abdullah Farhatullah, but the two later divorced. She has since remarried and surprised fans by announcing quietly on Instagram that she had given birth to a daughter, after keeping her private milestones under wraps for some time.
Now this viral clip has renewed hope that the actress will soon return to screens again.
