Nine India-backed militants were taken out in three separate operations by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, per ISPR.
Four militants were slain in Dera Ismail Khan during an intelligence-based operation, according to ISPR confirmation. Two more were killed in Tank in a gunfight with security personnel.
Three more militants were killed in a third operation in the Khyber district’s Bagh area.
A sizable cache of guns and ammo was found among the dead militants, according to the ISPR. The organization was supposedly supported by India and engaged in several acts of sabotage throughout the region.
Despite indications of additional militant presence, sanitation efforts are still underway in the impacted areas.
Security forces are steadfast in their resolve to rid the nation of terrorism supported by India.
Mohsin Naqvi, the federal interior minister, on the other hand, praised the security forces for their effective counterterrorism operations.
He claimed that the killing of terrorists connected to networks supported by India showed how competent and prompt Pakistan’s security forces were.
“Every Pakistani takes pride in the courage and commitment of the country’s armed forces,” Naqvi added, praising the courageous people who defeated the militants.
