Shefali Jariwala death: Indian actress and model Shefali Jariwala, best known for her appearance in the early 2000s hit music video Kaanta Laga, has tragically passed away at the age of 42 due to cardiac problem, according to Indian media reports.
Initial reports state that Shefali was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai, where she was declared dead upon arrival. She was accompanied by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and three others when brought in.
Shefali also gained popularity as a contestant on Bigg Boss season 13, hosted by Salman Khan. Notably, the season’s winner, Sidharth Shukla, had also passed away in 2021.
Throughout her career, Shefali Jariwala participated in numerous reality shows and won the hearts of fans with her charm and vibrant personality.
She was also admired for being a loving wife to actor Parag Tyagi and a devoted daughter who cared for her parents with the same dedication expected of a son. Shefali Jariwala death has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and admirers, prompting many to question what could have caused such an unexpected loss.
As of now, the cause of Shefali’s death remains uncertain, according to Mumbai police. An Indian joirnalist stated that Shefali was taken to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, but doctors confirmed that she had already passed away by the time she arrived. Her body was later sent to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Speaking to ANI, police officials said Shefali’s body was discovered at around 1 a.m. on June 28, 2025, at her residence in Andheri. After receiving a tip-off, authorities arrived at the scene and later transferred her to Cooper Hospital. While some reports suggest that a heart attack may have been the cause, nothing has been officially confirmed, and the post-mortem report is awaited to determine the exact reason.
Meanwhile, the watchman at Shefali’s residence told IANS that he was unaware of the incident. He said he opened the gate late at night and only found out about Shefali’s death when someone informed him around 1 a.m.
