On the sidelines of the 17th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit in Khankendi, the premier met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The two leaders reviewed the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey and discussed important regional developments.
They reaffirmed their commitment to making meaningful progress in all major areas of cooperation, including trade, defense, energy, and investment.
Additionally, they agreed to facilitate the exchange of high-level delegations with the goal of putting the agreements reached during the meeting into practice.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment to collaborating closely with Turkey in order to achieve the region’s common objectives of peace, stability, and sustainable development.
