 Islamabad police on Monday arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat outside the Parliament House.
After the National Assembly session ended, a heavy police contingent arrived outside the Parliament House, fully prepared.
As soon as PTI leaders exited, the police took positions and subsequently detained Sher Afzal Marwat.
During the arrest, there was a scuffle between Sher Afzal Marwat’s companions and the police.
However, the police encircled and arrested him, seized his vehicle, and left the scene.
PTI’s Aamir Dogar managed to leave the Parliament House without any trouble.
 Sher Afzal Marwat was dragged away by the police.
 Following his arrest, other PTI leaders and assembly members decided to remain inside the Parliament House.
