Sher Afzal Marwat, a prominent figure in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), expressed his dissatisfaction with the party’s treatment of him in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “No one should expect me to beg for duties because my self-esteem has been hurt.”
In response to a comment about PTI’s efforts to free Imran Khan from jail, Marwat revealed, “The party has relieved me of all my responsibilities, clearly under Khan Sahib’s instructions. Now, I have no duties and will spend my time as I see fit.”
Marwat’s emotional response highlighted the impact of the party leaders’ treatment on his self-esteem. He admitted, “I can be a bit unusual and psychotic in certain situations, but self-respect is my top priority. I was publicly ignored, humiliated, disgraced, and disrespected by the very people I fought for.”
He concluded by stating he would not participate in any party activities unless personally requested by Imran Khan.
