Sindh province’s educational institutions have announced their summer vacations starting from June 1.
All throughout the province, including Karachi, the capital of Sindh and the biggest metropolis in the nation, summer vacations will start on June 1.
Regarding summer breaks in schools and colleges, a notification has been released by the Sindh Education Department. The announcement states that the summer vacation would run from June 1 until July 31.
Both public and private Sindh schools and colleges will be affected by the summer break decision. As stated in the Sindh Education Department’s statement, the steering committee’s recommendations were taken into consideration when making the decision.
At a meeting on February 22, 2022, the Education Department’s steering committee created a schedule for instruction, tests, and breaks in educational institutions.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration had previously announced that high and upper secondary schools in the summer zone will have breaks from June 15 to August 31 and basic schools from June 1 to August 31.
According to the notification, summer vacations in winter zone schools will run from July 1 to July 31. Both public and private educational institutions will observe the holidays, according to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department. Prior to this, Balochistan also revealed the school summer holiday timetable for 2025, following Punjab.
Additionally, the Punjab government has officially declared summer vacations for all public and private schools and colleges starting from May 28.
In parallel, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released safety guidelines for schools to follow before the holidays begin. These include:
