TikToker Sana Yousaf death: A 17-year-old TikToker, Sana Yousaf was shot dead in Islamabad’s G-13 Sector, within the jurisdiction of the Sumbal police station on Monday.
According to authorities, Sana was shot at close range inside her home by an unknown assailant. The murderer allegedly entered the house and opened fire before fleeing the scene.
An alleged neighbor reported that a thief entered the house and shot Sana three times. She died on the spot. The assailant fled the scene before police arrived.
Authorities have gathered evidence from the scene and are evaluating CCTV footage from surrounding cameras as part of the inquiry. Sana’s body was brought to PIMS Hospital for a postmortem assessment before being returned to her family following legal requirements.
Though the motive behind the killing remains unconfirmed, officials are exploring multiple angles, including personal disputes, social tensions or a possible honor-related crime.
