Users call for Yango boycott after driver harassed woman rider
TwitterFacebook

Yango, the online rider service app, is under hot water after a user and instagram influencer, Dr. Noor ul Huda, shared her experience of being harassed by Yango driver.

Dr. Huda shared that her car was not available, so she had to take a Yango ride from her workplace to home.

Upon reaching, the Yango driver, seeing that she was alone at home, started harassing her to such an extent that she had to shriek and call security.

This is not the first time that any user has complained about being harassed by Yango Rider.

She also stated that it is not that she was harassed, but she is more disappointed in the pathetic user customer services the app offers.

What’s more pathetic is that their customer service is not even taking a call and there is no option to send them the video. They never even take any complaint of harassment or oil theft and never bother with any background checks, said user.

She also stated her past experiences with Yango, stating that one time she was in front of a bank waiting for Yango and the driver tried to rob her and her sister by telling that he is a famous gangster’s friend. But thankfully she managed to save herself.

She also urged everybody to call out the company so that they stop this shameful and irresponsible behavior.

Another user wrote, “One time a Yango driver was intoxicated and kept using offensive language for no reason. When I filed a complaint, their response was to offer me a free ride as compensation, shit behaviour fr.”

User said, “My sister booked a Yango and upon receiving the call from the driver telling her that he’s reached she told him that she’ll be there in 2 mins. She was coming from one city to another was getting off her bus.
He started abusing her and the language he used I cant even write here.
We reported that driver and they asked “what did he say”. We told them he used abusive language and again they asked what were the words he used. Mind you he gave “GHATIYA GALIYAN”. Well we finally told them WHAT HE SAID and they said OKAY!!
that was all they did…”
