The majority of the country is bracing for another day of intense heat and arid conditions, according to the latest advisory issued by the meteorological authorities.
While high temperatures dominate much of the landscape, isolated regions are likely to receive a break in the form of rainfall.
The federal territory and surrounding provinces, including large parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, are expected to remain dry under the sun’s strong glare. However, parts of northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa—such as Swat, Dir, Shangla, Malakand, and Mansehra—are on track to witness scattered showers.
Similarly, central Punjab districts like Faisalabad, Sargodha, Jhang, and Mianwali might experience light rain, offering short-term respite from rising temperatures.
Meanwhile, conditions in Sindh and Balochistan are forecasted to stay extremely warm and dry, with authorities advising the public to stay hydrated and avoid unnecessary exposure during peak heat hours.
Northern regions including Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir could see some weather variation, as rain and thunderstorms are anticipated, which may help moderate local temperatures. Weather officials have urged the public to remain cautious and plan accordingly in response to these developments.
