Donald Trump is considered as outspoken, bold and unorthodox in his policies, diplomacy and politics. Entire world is discussing his policies on Gaza, China and Ukraine as 47th US President.
Analysts in Pakistan are discussing the same in context of their own country.
In his victory speech after winning the US presidential elections, he clearly mentioned he is anti-war. Trump said he has come to power to end wars, not to start them.
So, his supporters in US and other world believe he would owner his words.
Gaza
As the Gaza siege has entered the second year, Arabs, Muslim world and millions of people who call for peace eagerly wish Trump interference to end the war. Many believe his famous Abraham Accords was an effort to establish peace in Middle East though it gives much to Israel as compared to Palestine. Hardliners opposed it but moderates and secular voices and many Arab nations overwhelmingly backed the formula of coexistence among world three major religions- Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
On the other side, there are expectations that Donald Trump would use his influence on Russian President Vladimir Putin to withdraw Russian forces from Ukraine. Putin may extend congratulation to Trump on victory in US polls. Trump during his 45th presidential stints had not hesitated to meet North Korea leader Kim Jong Un. Analysts believe he will do the same in case of Putin and both leader would reach on an understanding to end Ukraine war. Recent reports indicate Russia and Ukraine are also trying to sit on table for peace.
Trump will cool down China front and resume financial activities with Beijing, believe his supporters. Although it seems difficult that he would compromise on his trade stance and Taiwan policy.
His relations with China would directly affect Pakistan-US ties. If both the superpowers make some positive development, it will become easy for Pakistan to keep balance in relations with the two. And in case of any rigidity, Trump would seek clear answer from Islamabad that whether it is standing with Washington or Beijing, considering the regional politics and interests.
