Waqar Nawaz, the brother of famous actors-directors Yasir and Danish Nawaz, is no more.
Sharing on his Instagram stories in the early morning hours on Tuesday, Yasir Nawaz, the husband of popular host Nida Yasir, revealed that his brother Waqar Nawaz has departed from the world.
Though he did not disclose much information about his brother’s death, Yasir informed that the funeral will take place today afternoon. The ‘Dil Mom Ka Diya’ actor also asked his fans to pray for his deceased brother.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. With great sadness, we would like to announce that our dear and affectionate brother Waqar Nawaz passed away,” he declared.
“May Allah (SWT) pardon his faults, reward him the best abode in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and provide patience and strength to his family – Ameen.”
“Janazah (funeral) prayer today, 24th June, after Zuhr prayers (1:30 PM sharp) at Rehmania Masjid, Tariq Road, Karachi,” he further stated.
We respectfully ask you to pray for him in your duas. Ameen,” the celebrity finished.
Incidentally, Waqar was one of the four Nawaz brothers, Yasir, Danish and Dr. Faraz being the others, while they have a sister, Anzalna. Their father, Fareed Nawaz Baloch, was a veteran television actor, as his glorious career is remembered.
